Hello and welcome to the Grand Andro Marketing Show. Today we are going over your 2023 marketing strategy, so let’s jump right into this. Remember, these episodes are seven. So we are packing in the information here for you. Um, let’s see if we can make it in that seven minute mark. Today we’re gonna break down your marketing strategy into five different buckets, content marketing, seo, creator, marketing, email marketing, and paid ads.

Okay, let’s jump into content marketing. In 2023, your focus for new content that you create should. Short form vertical videos. If you’re not already creating this type of content, you really, really need to start. This is where everything is shifting. Instagram is pushing their reels. YouTube is pushing their shorts, and TikTok is just exploding.

Still. I think one of the biggest things that hold people back from getting into it is just getting in front of the camera. And I know that can be hard. Really, it’s just a matter of doing it. If you go back to anyone’s account, anyone’s TikTok account, and go to the very first videos, they’re scary . I’m not gonna lie.

I go back to my first videos and yeah, they’re rough, but it’s a matter of doing it and doing it and doing it. And then you just get that practice, you get that confidence, you just have to do it. And that’s. We have multiple videos and episodes on how to succeed with TikTok and short form vertical videos.

So go back and listen to those. They’re out there. We have a ton of content on that. Next week we’ll be talking specifically into the content marketing and reels, TikTok and shorts. So you know, stay tuned for that. But for right now in this episode, content marketing, your focus should be in your planning, creating TikTok reels and shorts.

Let’s move on to the next item, and that is seo. So when we think of seo, we wanna think of, okay, SEO is going to be the long term. It’s gonna take a while for this to get traction. It’s gonna take time, but it’s gonna last for a very long time. Right? It’s once we kind of get the wheel in motion, we’re gonna start getting the results.

Give yourself six. of focusing on seo, then you’ll start to see these gains coming in from it, from your efforts. So what I would recommend is once a month create long form like blog article content, right? So find that keyword that your audience would be searching for to find your product. Create long blog posts that.

Let’s just say 2000 words plus that have video, that have images that is in depth, right? So you’re better off in 2023, creating less content that’s more deep and. And bigger and involved and more helpful to the audience. Google wants you to help the audience and give them what they want. They’re not looking for quantity, they’re looking for quality.

The other thing you wanna do is you wanna go back to the basics and look at what keywords should you be using. , making sure that these keyword phrases are indeed in the titles of your pages and your post and in the meta-description, in the tags, and then in the content that you’re using these keywords in the content as well.

This is a huge factor in how you will get ranked, so that’s just the basics. Onsite search engine optimization. The next thing to focus on if you are a local business is local s e o. So make sure you have gone out and you have gotten your Google profile, which used to be Google My Business, uh, listing.

Make sure you have that and it’s up to date and filled out in its entirety and that you have the right address on your website and Google my business and everywhere else. That’s really one thing that it really looks. So that’s seo. The next thing is creator marketing. So there’s a huge shift from what used to be influencer marketing into creator marketing.

So we think about these creators on TikTok, and you don’t necessarily have to go hiring these huge personalities that are gonna cost you millions of dollars. You can actually hire out small creators that. A circle of influence, and with tools like reels and TikTok and shorts, they’re getting great reach in their audience and in their niche.

So one thing to look at is going onto these. If you wanna hire someone to create content for you and find influencers or creators out there, instead of going and looking at profiles that just have a huge amount of followers, look at profiles in a niche that have a certain amount of. Per video. The way these media, the social media works these days is it’s pushing out to new people and then not necessarily to followers.

For me, I don’t have a huge following. I think we have 20 some thousand on TikTok, which is great. But really what it comes down to is the amount of views we get per video. Cause when I post a TikTok, it goes out to a whole new audience. Okay, we’re getting close on time, so we gotta wrap this up. So that’s creator marketing.

The next one is email marketing. You need to have your lead magnet in place if you don’t have a lead magnet. We have just done a few episodes on creating the perfect lead magnet. I want you to look at doing some quizzes and some timed challenges in how you can implement those and in the next coming. We will be diving into the email marketing even more so.

And then the final one is paid advertising. You should at least be having a remarketing ad running, and that basically is an ad that is being shown to people who have visited your website. The two places you wanna focus, your paid advertising is on Google and on social. Google is going to show your ad to people with intent, people who are actively searching for what you are offering based off of a keyword social.

You are gonna show your ad to people who are not looking for you, but have the interest in demographics that would be a good fit for your service or product. So you’re putting your ad in front of them, so it’s more of like getting their awareness about your product. Okay, there you have it. Content marketing, s e o, creator marketing, email marketing, and paid ads.

Wraps us up for your 2023 marketing strategy. In the next five weeks, we will be diving deeper into each one of these and uncovering even more. So please stay tuned and don’t forget, this is your bingeable marketing content podcast. We’ll see you in the next.
